Within an hour or so’s drive you will find several of our regions' cities all waiting for you to explore.

Lourdes

Lourdes is found at the foothills of the pyrenees and is most famous for Christian Pilgrimages, following claims that there were apparitions of Our Lady of Lourdes to Bernadette Soubirous in 1858. Since then it has become a tourist haven too, and attracts up to five million tourists a year.

Tarbes

Tarbes has a wonderful park ‘Jardin Massey’ which has beautiful gardens, childrens play areas, museum, tennis courts, miniature train, cafes. Peacocks and other animals roam around the park and you will see amazing fish in the rivers which flow through the middle.  You will also find a good selection of shops and brocantes here if you wish to spend a day browsing.

Pau

Pau, situated to the west of here is also worthy of a visit. Affectionately known as the English city you will find medieval charm and renaissance all around. Discover Pau castle and the charms of the castle quarters, visit the museum of fine arts, follow marked walks in Beaumont Park or simply stroll along the Boulevard Des Pyrenees. From here you will see a breathtaking view of the mountains and you can take a funicular ride from the Royal square down to the grand station. Admidst all the culture and architecture you find shops, cafes and restaurants a plenty.

Andorra

Around 200km away is the small country of Andorra. This tax haven is a tourist favourite as they benefit from duty free savings. Aside from that is beautiful scenery and in the winter, excellent ski resorts.

Other Places

We are also only approximately two hours from the beautiful city of Carcassone or if you fancy the beach, we are only two hours from the rolling waves of Biarritz.
